A period of organ and church-music formation in London, undertaken in preparation for the ARCO (Associate of the Royal College of Organists) diploma. The experience involved further study in organ performance, practical engagement with liturgical repertoire, and playing pipe organs for Masses, church services, funerals, and other ecclesiastical events.
Alongside organ studies, Gerard Isaac Wong undertook freelance keyboard work, including piano and keyboard accompaniment for Women’s Voices’ Christmas carolling events at the Royal Horseguards Hotel and FilChamp’s Simbang Gabi Masses, Sinulog celebrations, and other events in London.
The period provided further experience in liturgical organ accompaniment, collaborative music-making, and adapting to both historic and contemporary pipe organs within ecclesiastical settings.
